Avian-Elite Better Bitters
Better Bitters! contains powerful taste deterrents for birds. It is extremely bitter, over 100 times as bitter as most competing products! Better Bitters! Is non-staining and can be used on any water safe surface. It contains no alcohol (alcohol can dry a bird’s skin and could be a problem if ingested).
Note: Feather picking usually is a symptom of a larger problem. This product is intended as an aid, not a cure. We strongly recommend that you consult your veterinarian for additional advice any time feather picking is a problem!
Unlike bitter detergents designed for other species of animals, Canopy Better Bitters! was designed specifically for birds. This means you don’t need to worry about introducing your avian friend to unnecessary and potentially harmful ingredients such as isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol that most competing products contain.
When introducing a new bird, spray birds to discourage potential territorial picking and fighting.
